Donald Trump is by far the most famous casino owner in the world. His name alone has become one of the top worldwide brands. Trump is the owner of a chain of successful casinos such as Trump Plaza and Trump Taj Mahal. The nickname of Stanley Ho is "The King of Gambling". He is not as famous as Donald Trump but the 40 years monopoly in Macau gambling industry brought him international recognition. His company owns 16 of the casinos operating in Macau. Now at the age of 89, Stanly Ho has 17 children with four different women. Kirk Kerkorian born in 1917 is one of the most important individuals in creating the current Las Vegas gambling city. His name is linked to several famous Las Vegas casinos such as International Hotel, Flamingo Hotel, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Bellagio, The Luxor and Excalibur. Steve Wynn, now at the age of 69, it’s another American entrepreneur with an important role in the expansion of Las Vegas Strip. The Mirage was his first major casino in the Strip and proved a real success. Treasure Island Hotel and Casino and Bellagio are another two famous casinos created by Steve Wynn. Sheldon Adelson is the chairman and the CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corporation which owns famous casinos such as The Venetian, The Las Vegas Sands, The Sands Macau, The Venetian Macao and Marina Bay Sands. |
