 The title of the world’s most famous land base casino was held by different casinos from around the world. The Monte Carlo Casino from Monaco is one of the first casinos in Europe and soon became very famous. The Monte Carlo Casino is one of the smallest casinos in the world and in the same historical building you can find the “Grand Théâtrean”, the opera and ballet house.
Casino de Montréal is the largest Canadian casino and one of the top ten largest casinos in the world. The casino has three buildings, two of the Montréal Casino structures being built for Expo 67. The special, futurist architecture makes it special, because most casinos have a classic style.
Another famous casino is The Venetian Hotel Resort Casino from Las Vegas. Since the grand opening, back in 1997, The Venetian imposed itself as the best casino in the Las Vegas Strip. An even larger Venetian was opened in Macao, becoming the largest and the most famous casino in the world at this point. The Clermont Club is the most exclusive casino in the world. Anyone who wants to enter the casino must apply or a private club membership at least a day in advance. The casino is very small but is famous for the high class members and celebrities that visit it. Marina Bay Sands will probably be the next casino attraction. Being the first casino in Singapore, once completed, Marina Bay Sands will most certain be the hottest integrated resort in Asia. Marina Bay Sands is developed by Las Vegas Sands, and is the most expensive casino property in the world (around US$5.7 billion). |
