Hedge Betting System E-mail

Hedge Betting SystemThe Hedge Betting System, also called Parity System consists in splitting a bet in two separate and compensating wagers. The purpose of splitting the bet is to minimize the loss and win a small profit. Hedge bets are usually used in casino at the craps table. One big advantage of this betting system is that minimizing the loss allows you to play longer with a small bankroll.

No one knows exactly who created the hedge system and when was it used for the first time. Rumors say that this betting strategy was invented by a group of nuclear scientists who wanted to create a system that will increase the player’s advantage and decrease the house edge. The legend has more versions but the most famous says that in 1970s a group of genius working with nuclear weapons created the system and convinced a Japanese businessman to try it on the Las Vegas Casinos.

The story tells that the businessman won about $15,000 on the first try of the system, splitting the profit in half with its creators. After a while the businessman returned to Las Vegas and played on several casinos large sums winning over $10 million. On that time the casinos owners were members of the Mob and being sure that the Japanese player cheated made him disappear.

The names of the scientists or the businessman were never revealed and remained a mystery that goes on today. The betting system was observed by the casino employees and other gamblers and in time become public so everyone can play it now.

An example of hedge bet is placing a $10 don’t pass bet and then place the 6 & 8 for $6 apiece. If the shooter throws sevens you only lose $2. If some sixes and eights comes out before he sevens you have a nice profit.

As you can see from the example, Hedge System is very easy to use but doesn’t give you the chance of big profits unless you have a big bankroll and place large bets. This betting system fits better to tight gamblers playing on small amounts that want to reduce the loss and play longer.
