Martingale strategy for craps There are many gambling strategies available for the ones willing to try them out.  Some of them are general betting systems that can be used for more than one casino game. This also applies in the case of Martingale strategy which is one of the most popular betting strategies worldwide.

There is no 100% successful strategy for craps so always keep that in mind while gambling. Martingale strategy is very easy to follow and suits all players whether they are amateurs or experienced.

The Martingale system consists in doubling the bet after each losing round and starting over after a win. A series of Martingale bets with a initial value of $1 should look like this: $1, $2, $4, $8, $16, etc. As stated before, the system ends once a bet is won and starts over with the initial amount of $1.

This betting system can be used only for even payout bets and ensures minimum loses for losing streaks that otherwise would be disastrous.

When the Martingale series of bets ends with the winning bet, all the money previously lost are now regained plus a profit equal to the initial investment. Basically, using a Martingale strategy in perfect conditions you can never lose your money and even better you have a sure profit.

There could be a problem while following a Martingale strategy, which comes from the doubled bets. On one hand you will need a big bankroll to implement this strategy and on the other hand some casinos have maximum bets limitations.

The strategy starts with a small bet, but in case of a losing streak the bets can reach very high values. You will need to keep doubling your bets until you will finally win. If you don’t have enough bankroll or you reach the limit of the maximum bet allowed you cannot continue the strategy and all the money are lost. Therefore check out the table’s limits before using this strategy and start with the smallest bets possible.
