The 1-3-2-6 betting system

The 1-3-2-6 betting strategyThe 1-3-2-6 gambling system is similar to the Paroli betting strategy so is a positive progression system. As a positive progression system the bets are increased after winning. This betting system is used in even money games like blackjack and red/black, even/odd, 1-18/19-36 in roulette.

This gambling strategy includes just four wagers and tries to maximize the profit in a four win in a row situation. Like in Paroli gambling strategy, before starting to wager the player decides value of one wager unit. After deciding the value the gambler starts betting using the 1-3-2-6 as betting scheme. Let’s take an example to show what is going on while using this strategy.

Let’s assume that a player decides to use this strategy with a $10 unit. His first bet will be $10. If winning the player gets $10 more and has $20 available for the next bet. In the scheme the second bet should be 3 units which represent $30, so the player adds $10 more. Winning again on the second bet the player has on the table $60. He takes $40 from this mount and for the third bet he wagers just $20. If he wins the third bet he has $40 and adds $20 back for his last wager. If the last bet is a win the player won $120, this representing net profit.

As you can see from the example, 1-3-2-6 betting system offers to gamblers the opportunity to win large amounts of money ($120) with low risk (maximum loss $20). This gambling strategy has a unique advantage: after just two winning bets the player has two units of profit.

1-3-2-6 stops and starts over from 1 unit in case a bet is lost or after the four winning wagers. Let’s see what the possible outcomes for the previous example are.

1st bet:  $10 - lost - $10 loss        1st bet: $10 - win - $20 - $10 profit
2nd bet: $30 - lost - $20 loss       2nd bet: $30 - win - $60 - $40 profit
3rd bet:  $20 - lost - $20 profit     3rd bet: $20 - win - $40 - $60 profit
4th bet:  $60 - lost - no profit      4th bet: $60 - win - $120 - $120 profit

This strategy has a 1-3-2-4 variation which has a difference on the last bet. The fourth bet is 4 units so in case of losing the player still has a $20 profit, but in case of winning the last bet profit will be $100. 1-3-2-4 ensures you minimum $20 profit after winning the first two bets having the disadvantage of a smaller profit in case of a four bets winning series. It’s up to you to decide which one fits you better and start using it.
