Although is a relatively new industry, online forex trading is expanding fast on both sides: available trading platforms on one side and online traders on the other. There are dozens of online brokers available at this point but is expected that the number of trading platforms to increase in the next period.
The number of online traders is growing much faster than expected due to the accessibility, easy use and low risks that characterize the online forex industry.
The trading platforms are very simple and easy to use encouraging especially the amateurs that want to learn to trade on forex or they are just curious on how the forex trading is done. The minimum investments required by many online brokers are very low (around $100 or even less) making online trading very attractive for beginners and inexperienced traders. With so many strong points it’s no surprise that the number of online traders is growing with each new day. At this point the number of amateur traders is far more greater than the number of professional traders but no one knows what the future hold for this industry. Some financial analysts say that in the future the proportion between amateurs and professional online traders might change dramatically as traders that now are just starting to trade will gather more experience becoming professional traders. On a market that is very open allowing practically to anyone interested to enter and trade, the balance between professional trading and amateur trading could get even. In the total volume, the transactions made by professionals will always count more no matter what is the number of proportion between the two categories. The reason for this particular situation is quite obvious: the experienced traders trade on much larger amounts of money than the amateurs that will not take such big risk. |
