Poker moviesThe game of poker is part of the American culture for more than two centuries. The golden years of poker are no doubt in the Wild West era, when poker was the main activity in bars and saloons all over North America. Nowadays it seems that poker enters a new era, being the most popular game of cards worldwide.

Besides the worldwide popular tournaments attracting thousands of players, the large number of poker sites available on the internet made poker accessible to all kind of people all over the world. As a natural consequence the number of poker players is increasing each day and more and more young poker players win their way into the game’s history.

Poker is now part of the modern culture and a good proof of that is the large number of films with great poker action. As poker wins more popularity with each major tournament is expected that more movies about poker to be made in the following years.

From the long list of movies with poker as a main subject we can hardly pick only ten on them to make a top of best poker films.

So after a hard time choosing them, this is our top ten:
