How to compare oddsThere are two types of sports betting: bet for fun and bet for money. Those who bet for fun don’t pay very much attention to the odds and in most cases have one favorite bookmaker where they place all their bets. That’s the standard behavior for sport fans betting on their favorites.

On the other hand, those who bet only for money have a very different behavior. They watch for the best odds and they have a list with favorite bookmakers.

Everyone says that before placing a bet you should compare odds, looking for the best ones. But how do you do that? A very easy solution is to look for sites that make the odds comparison for you. They are easy to find but they have two main disadvantages: they might not have the sports events you are interested and they could promote dubious bookmakers. As you can imagine this is not a safe solution.

If you don't take into consideration the first option, you only have one left: to make for yourself the odds comparison. To do that you should start by choosing the list of bookmakers. You can start with the most popular and most reliable ones like: Ladbrokes, Expekt, Unibet, Paddy Power and the list can continue. Make that list and stick to it for every bet, because changing it every time could cost you time and money.

The next step is to decide upon the sport event that you want to bet on. Usually the major bookmakers have the largest lists of sports and bets available so if you made your bookmaker list properly you should be covered.
The last step is to check the odds at each bookmaker and to choose the best. The best odds represent the biggest ones. Let’s take for example a match between Team A and Team B with the next odds:

Bookmaker 1: Team A to win 1.25, Team B to win 1.60
Bookmaker 2: Team A to win 1.30, Team B to win 1.55

In case you want to bet on Team A to win you should choose Bookmaker 2 but if you think Team B will win you should place the bet at Bookmaker 1. As you can see, the odds comparison is not difficult but in order to be successful you just need to follow three simple steps.
