 The first two days at Royal Ascot are over and so are the first twelve races. Richard Hughes, the 36 years old Irish jockey dominated the first day of races winning three out of the six races, including The Ascot Stakes (by far the longest race). Two of his victories were obtained together with his father in law as trainer, Richard Hannon.
On the other side, the English jockey Ryan Moore was unlucky throughout the two days, finishing in the second position four times, and in the third position once, without being able to win a race. Sir Michael Stoute had three of his trained horses finishing on the second position, and is still waiting for his first victory in this year's Royal Ascot competitions.
