South Africa 2010 World Cup Group Stage

A week before the kick start of 2010 World Cup, all major bookmakers already posted their odds for the group stage.

In Group A the favorite teams to pass the group stage are France and Mexico, but Uruguay has odds very close to Mexico at Expekt.  

Argentina is the undisputed leader of the Group B, and is followed at a comfortable distance by the Nigerian team.

The Group C has two obvious favorites: England and USA. Slovenia and Algeria have small chances to go to the next stage of the competition.

In the fourth group the second place is disputed between Serbia and Ghana, the first one having better chances. The first place will surely be won by Germany.

The fight for the second place, the last that sends a team in the next phase, will be rough in the E Group. Netherlands will probably win the group, but Cameroon and Denmark must fight hard for their chances.  

Goup F seems very easy, Italy and Paraguay having an uncomplicated task.

In the Gorup G Brazil doesn’t have any real competitor, remaining only the doubt surrounding the second in place. Both Portugal and Ivory Coast having very close odds.

The H Group is one of the most comfortable in the World Cup’s first stage.
